The closure appears to be brass with brass heads which give it articulation. The Bow itself is handcrafted gold and silverplating. On, this piece is dynamite! There are a few minor spots on the lower portion of the bow that need to be replated - not serious due to the high gloss of the piece. The Bib was featured at a high end artists show in California in the 1980s. The Bow measures 9"Long x 7"Wide. The Brass closure has 2 adjustments for length. Condition: Very good. It is designed with individually hand set crystals in sterling prong engraved settings. All the stones are unfoiled. The stones are emerald cut and round alternating and individually linked down to the Center which has 3 emerald cuts and from each of those dangle a repeat of the design with the center one longer than the other 2. The length of the Choker is 14"Long with the centerpiece 3/4"W and 2"Long. Obviously this was for a petite woman with a small neck. It just fits my neck - although I am not petite. They began business in Rhode Island in 1938 - they went out of business and apparently restarted in the 1980s - however no current information is available. They were known for goold filled, vermeil and sterling jewelry. This Ring is in excellent condition, showing virtually no wear to the naked eye. It could be from the 1980s re-organization.
