This is a great piece of 1980-90 piece of VILLEROY & BOCH. It is a jam or jelly jar. However, you can use it for sauce or whatever you like. The pattern is a cherry pattern. It is in excellent condition, showing virtually minimal use. It has a lid with the cutout for inserting a spoon in the jar. Marked on the bottom Villeroy & Boch - anno 1748 Luxembourg. The JAR measures 2 1/2"Tall without the lid. The diameter of the opening is 3 1/2". ENJOY!
