| All I can say is fabulous! This Hat is 1960s as my best guess. The hat is worn on the back of head or anyway you want. I took a picture of myself in it to give you an idea. It is an eggshell shade of fine strawlike material - it has a wide upturned ruffled brim and gold netting which sits on the head. The measurements of the Hat are: Ruffled brim is 5" Wide. The gold netting is 1 1/2"Wide. The inside crown measurement is 21" around. The inside Label reads: Oscar de la Renta © Millinery. The Hat is in very good condition. There are several pictures for your viewing pleasure. ENJOY this piece of the past! OSCAR de la RENTA, after studying with leading couture designers opened his own business in 1965. He was noted as a designer of extravagant, opulent and tasteful clothes. Still designing today! |
