| This is a great Sweater. It is acrylic and metallic and washable. It is black with gold metallic in a mock turtle neck style. It is long sleeves and light in weight. It is a size Large and measures from the top of the neck back to the hem at 30 1/2"L. Great with slax or a long black skirt. The Sweater is in good condition, no holes, tears or stains. The Brooch is NOT included but is available under Costume Jewelry - Designer Signed. ENJOY! PIERRE CARDIN was born in 1922 near Venice, Italy, he was raised and educated in France. At 14 he served as an apprentice to Manby, a tailor in Vichy. He later studied architecture but soon decided to pursue his fashion career and entered the house of Paquin. There he gained experience and assisted in making the magnificent costumes for Jean Cocteau's "La Belle et la Bête". In 1946 he became head of Christian Dior's design studio. |
