| A beautifully crafted 1950s Brooch from ART. This is designed in antiqued goldplating - all filigree domed setting - it is in the shape of a 10 point star with tiered settings. It has granulation, clear handset rhinestones green enamel, deep coral enamel and the center tier is a 10point elongated star set with pavé rhinetones and simulated seed pearls with a center deep honey topaz rhinestone. This piece is in excellent condition, showing virtually no wear. It measures 2"Long x 2"Wide. ENJOY! ART jewelry has been around from the 1940s thru the late 60s. ART jewelry is very collectible and is to be found in a broad range of design -- typically resembling Victorian and Renaissance revival jewelry. These pieces employ quality, unique colored stones combined with fine filigree or stamped metalwork. References found in COSTUME JEWELRY by Fred Rezazadeh on page 35. |
