| From CORO comes this pair of pre-1954 Clipback Earrings. They are designed in a round disk with a bright goldtone rim - the center is a florentined surface and set with 6 bezel set rhinestones as follows: oval faceted deep hyacinth rhinestone - a round faceted sapphire blue rhinestone - a square faceted amethyst rhinestone - a marquise faceted citrine rhinestone - a square faceted amethyst rhinestone - and an emerald cut faceted emerald green rhinestone. The Earrings are in pristine condition, showing virtually no wear at all. The Earrings are from a Collector, who never wore most of the jewelry. CORO Jewelry -- Founded in 1900s by Cohn and Rosenberger. In the 20s they built their own factory in Providence, RI and became the leading and largest manufacturer of costume jewelry in the US. Their operations ceased production in the 1970s. Their high end lines were Corocraft and Vendôme. |
