This is a bold goldplated Belt Buckle from MIMI di N. The diameter is 3 1/8". It is a heavy goldplated swirled fern leaf pattern with a crossed rope design in the center. There is some wear to the goldplating on the high ridges but a very collectible piece. Signed on the back. ENJOY! MIMI di N (Mimi di Niscemi) is a well known designer who originally was a partner with SCASSI. In 1962 she started her own company. She was known for very eye-catching jewelry and accessories -- sometimes Byzantine influenced settings. Very dramatic and highly collectible. MIMI has retired and no longer designs.
