Trifari Jewelry Company was responsible for the 1954 landmark copyright case in which it was established that fashion jewelry design was a work of art and therefore able to be copyrighted. The jewelry pieces from the onset through the 1970s is highly collectible - extremely collectible are the older KTF and TKF pieces, the Cartier inspired "tutti-fruitti" or "fruit salad", the jelly bellies made of clear lucite and the enameled flowers and figurals from the 1940s. Trifari is now part of Crystal Brands Jewelry Group, which also includes Money and the old Marvella company.
