| MARCEL BOUCHER one of the greatest designers and producers of costume jewelry in America, was born in France and trained as an apprentice to Cartier. In 1937, he established the Marcel Boucher and Cie Company in New York. He produced the most exquisite costume jewelry, unsurpassed by any other. From Fred Rezazadeh's Book, COSTUME JEWELRY. Each piece of this Set is signed BOUCHER with the Inventory Number 3300 on the Brooch and 3301 on the Earrings. This Set is designed in round chatons and baguettes of clear rhinestones. The design is a rhodium ribbon design. The Brooch measures 1 3/8"Long x 1 1/8"Wide. The Earrings measure 1"Long x 7/8"Wide. This Set is in Great Condition. Under a 30x Loupe you can detect some wear on the backside and a couple of stones are a little dark. To the naked eye the condition is Great. |
